We collect personal information from you for the sole purpose of notifying you about surf conditions. We never sell or share your data with any third parties or advertisers. The information we collect is limited to the information you share with use by using Social Media Login and the information we explicitly ask you for. This can include the following:

• Name
• Email Address
• Phone Number
• Location, only if prompted and consent is given

Providing some information is optional. If you choose not to enter an email address or phone number, we'll be unable to send notifications regarding surf conditions via those channels.

If you choose to enable the Nearby Surf Notifications feature, Swellify will look for surf near you once a day on your behalf. In order to do this, Swellify requests the location of your phone once per day, usually early in the morning. As per the rest of the Privacy Policy, your location is only ever used to check the surf and is never shared with third parties.

We keep your information safe by storing your data in encrypted form but also by using encryption when your data is in transit, using the latest industry standards and only allowing certain staff to access it.

We keep your information for as long as you have an account with us. If at any time you would like to delete your account we will securely erase all your data.
